Synopsis
October 2001, in an other-worldly setting, the 1663rd Russian missile Soyuz was launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome. At age 44, Claudie Haigneré became the first European woman to enter the international space station. During the flight and her time in space, Claudie tells of her travel, her mission’s challenges, her life as an astronaut, and friendship with the Russians.
