Synopsis
A documentary which, for the first time, gives the floor to the first people concerned by Alzheimer's disease, and to them alone: the patients. By 2020, this disease will affect one out of four French people over 65 years old, i.e. 1.3 million. 225,000 new cases are diagnosed every year, that is to say nearly one every three minutes... It is urgent to finally listen to the patients and learn from their experience, their life, their sensitivity. From their humanity. They whom society locks up in silence under the pretext that their memory is slipping away, they whom we consider only in terms of their lost capacities. In spite of prejudices that have a hard skin, people with Alzheimer's are able to speak. And they have a lot to say. This radical film takes only one point of view: theirs.
